Black Bull Turbo Yeast and Coconut Rum
The Black Bull Turbo Yeast provides fast, clean fermentation at an affordable price. This Danish yeast is temperature tolerant and capable of fermenting to 18% alcohol in as few as 5-6 days, thanks to Travellers Liquors Ltd who has been involved with making rum since the early 1960s – initially working with independent distillers. Kuknat Coconut Rum is produced using this process by distilling both flavorings of Coconut palm rum with sweet molasses rum to produce an extremely complex flavoured drink that produces its unique character.
The liquid itself has a light golden color and exudes aromas of sugary molasses notes and firm coconut notes from its glass. On the palate it is surprising smooth and balanced with just a touch of orange peel and light phenolic tones which quickly get overshadowed by sweet coconut in every sip. With time in the glass you may detect struck match and engine oil notes which add depth and dimension to its finish.
